My Fair Lady

Rotarians, their partners and their guests, enjoyed a first class performance of My Fair Lady at the Alhambra Theatre, Bradford, on the evening of 5th April.

Despite a late start (beyond the organisers control) the group enjoyed a fish and chip supper before arriving at the theatre for a pre-performance drink.

Thanks to Sheila and Mike for organizing a wonderful evening.

Fundraising Pie & Pea Supper

An excellent evening of fellowship, together with a very good pie & pea supper and a few glasses of wine, made this evening one to remember.

Donations of £1,850 will enable the club to pay for 50 Lifetime (clockwork) radios.

Social Evening

Rotarians and their partners enjoyed an evening of fellowship at the Royal Dragon Chinese restaurant on 2nd March.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

The Management Challenge game was conducted by Rotarians Alan Holloway and David Bland for participants of the course on Friday 24th February.

With only three teams, the game was fast & furious, competition close, and at the end of the game, a very short margin separated the teams.

Charter Night

Over 100 Rotarians and guests enjoyed the 84th Charter Dinner which was held at Doncaster Golf Club on 4th February.

Deric Longden, a noted author and playwright, responded to the President's toast of the guests with an entertaining account of his experiences.
